THE COIN COMMUNITY

The COIN project is launching its Community of Members composed by individuals and organisations willing to cooperate to perform specific tasks and activities, suitable for supporting the project development. The members of the COIN community are grouped into 3 different organisations' typologies (Scientific, IT and Industry/End users) and will be activated by key actors of the Community (called: Angels, Testimonials and Moderators) primarily on the specific focus areas, which will be decided in accordance with the COIN Impact Creation team.

Registration to the COIN Community is free and can be achieved on line.

The main Community objectives

  • To facilitate the involvement of external professionals in the implementation of COIN results.
  • To streamline the dissemination efforts, by divulgating the COIN concepts and results to a wider scientific and industry community;
  • To ease the adoption of COIN results, by expanding the COIN pilots and test cases to new application domains and sectors;

Benefits for Community members

The Community is composed by Individuals members and Multipliers, invited to contribute to the dissemination of COIN results and entitled to:

  • To have access to the COIN public and restricted documents;
  • To learn and get eventually in on-going COIN activities (i.e. contribution to COIN papers, peer evaluation of deliverables and so on);
  • To participate in working groups launched by COIN project;
  • To become a leader of working groups for those tasks in which you are a recognized expert.

Multipliers organisations have the opportunity of:

  • Being supported by the COIN team in the organisation of dissemination initiatives;
  • Accessing COIN confidential documents, mainly relevant to implementation and operative issues
  • Receiving dedicated training aimed to facilitate COIN results implementation and exploitation;
  • Getting financial and non financial support for the launch of additional COIN pilots.

Community main target groups and related objectives 

Scientific 

  • To increase the project presence in the scientific channels;

  • Getting financial and non financial support for the launch of additional COIN pilots.

IT Industry group

  • To expand the range of services of the COIN platform;
  • To provide an insight view on the COIN intended market;

Industry End Users group

  • To improve the COIN platform business value and performances;
  • To expand the COIN pilots and test cases base.
