Marc Pallot
COIN Service Platform for Living Labs (COIN4LL)
This task investigated the applicability of COIN service Platform
as an enabler for Living Labs. Living Labs movement is currently
gaining a significant momentum further to the positive outcomes of the
3rd wave and with the 4th wave call still on-going (deadline 25th
January 2010) to register as a member of European Network of Living
Labs (ENoLL, htpp/www.openlivinglabs.eu). At the moment, 129
organisations have been selected and are participating in the ENoLL
activity network.
As far as Living Labs relevance to COIN topics is concerned, they are
always linked to a specific industrial texture, mainly regional or
local, which makes them preferential candidate to be among COIN
multipliers and early adopters, thus giving COIN exploitation and
dissemination potential a boost.
Finally, Living Labs, which are already dispensing IT services to their
constituency, can also contribute to populate the COIN service offer by
establishing dedicated agreement.
Marc Pallot was the COIN designated Angel to perform this task, because
its early involvement in the AMI Communities, in the early stages of
the Living Labs deployment and his solid background activity and
experience in the ICT research arena.
