Generated services by employees in Enterprise 2.0 environments
Web 2.0 and IT principles and tools are at the base of the outstanding
and prodigious success of the various social network. While many are
led to think that they can just support amusement and entertainment and
that, for this reasons, they could disturb employees from their daily
duties, introduce into the enterprise’s firewall illegal and
unauthorized content, disclose company IPRs, twist the company’s
mission and message, the potential of their use in Enterprise 2.0
environments can be enormous too, boosting innovation and creativity
and spreading company culture and knowledge as never before within the
Large Corporates and Companies. To this end, the COIN project is
developing advanced EI and EC services which can be rightly used to
create new knowledge and innovation platforms within the Enterprise 2.0
world.
The objective of this task is to study the current State-of-the-art of
Enterprise 2.0 tools and implementation and to map it against the
current development status of the COIN project.
The idea is that the COIN service platform can be utilised to support
the use of Enterprise 2.0 service by employees and that
dedicated requirements and implementation suggestion have to be
collected to facilitate such new use scenario.Interest in COIN
