The COIN Community: Target Groups

The COIN Community is mainly composed by the following three target groups, which correspond to the main dissemination streams:

• Scientific Professionals involved in the Enterprise Interoperability and Enterprise Collaboration domain, with a view of disseminating the scientific achievements of the projects to interested people, to discuss new issues relevant to research topics and to launch new initiatives to contribute to the advancement of the state of the art;

• IT Industry Group, willing to contribute to expand the range of services of the COIN system, to provide an insight view on the COIN intended market and to provide feedback on the possible commercial strategies and business models relevant to the exploitation of COIN results;
• Industry End User Group, including SMEs, willing to contribute to the increase of COIN platform business value and performances of the COIN system and platforms,  to the definition of implementation methods for the COIN services in a real industrial environment and to expand the base of COIN pilots and test cases, in order to facilitate its replication in wider industrial contexts.

Members of the COIN Community are given the opportunity of playing an active role in the above mentioned activity areas and of receiving ad-hoc, customised information about the project opportunities, outcomes and on-going initiatives.
