Enterprise Interoperability and Collaboration in China: barriers and Challenges

The cooperation between Europe and China in the domain of” ICT in Manufacturing and Enterprise” has been lasting for 20 years now (dating back 1991) and will be no doubtfully enhanced in the future. The knowledge about enterprise interoperability and collaboration in China will be greatly helpful for the stakeholders both from industry and research who are interested in Sino-Europe cooperation.

Prof. Xiaofei XU (Harbin Institute of Technology – Harbin - China) in his "Enterprise Collaboration and Interoperability in China: Barriers and Challenges" introduces the state of the art and problems when Chinese enterprises, both large enterprises and SMEs, are implementing enterprise collaboration and interoperability and gives a vision by 2020 of the business environment in China and roadmaps for different stakeholders, i.e. enterprises, researchers and government to achieve the vision.
