Enterprise Interoperability: Side B of the COIN

SP5 Enterprise Interoperability Services Development, Integration and Testing

Enterprise Interoperability is the ability of two or more systems or components to exchange information and to use the information that has been exchanged.

The objective is to provide a foundation for Enterprise Interoperability Services based on the principles from existing interoperability frameworks and results from previous projects to be integrated with the new COIN Service platform.
The work in SP5 starts with the consolidation of the results from previous EU FP6 Enterprise Interoperability project and other sources. Existing services will be harmonised into to a set of baseline Enterprise Interoperability services.

On top of a developed common baseline, the workpackage will further develop innovative services for

  • Information Interoperability Services,
  • Knowledge Interoperability Services,
  • Business Interoperability Services
