Business Interoperability in Automotive Cluster of Slovenia

The Automotive Cluster of Slovenia wishes to develop an intensive and reliable network of suppliers providing products of a higher rank of complexity and added value for global car manufacturers.

The starting point is that interoperability will support Slovenian SMEs in better integrating with the ICT systems of their customers, not only at regional level but also at a global level. Due to the fact that almost 80% of products and services Slovenian automotive industry are exported and due to the further globalization trends in automotive industry, further integration of customers, suppliers, RTD performers and support institutions is needed on global level. ACS ICT system will be used as base for automotive network south Eastern Europe, which could be growing outsourcing and RTD base for global automotive industry as counterbalance to the development in Far East.
